How is Matcha made?
Made from a combination of ceremony-grade green tea with subtle, sweet-smelling flavours, Arkadia’s Chai Tea Matcha is the perfect ingredient for creating your delicious hot or iced Matcha latte.
Chai Tea Matcha uses only the best hand-picked green tea leaves that have been grown in the shade. The entire leaves are then dried and ground using grinding wheels made from granite to form a divine, jade-green powdered tea.
Sadō, which translates as ‘the way of tea’, is a Japanese tea ceremony that involves preparing, presenting, and consuming green tea. Hosted in a tea room with the Zen approach, the ceremony is guided by principles of respect, purity, harmony and tranquillity, rendering the act of drinking tea a meditative practice that invites calmness and mindfulness.
